Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 August 2026

These terms cover your use of filecrafthub.com. By using the site or its tools, you agree to them. We have kept the language as plain as we can, because terms that need a lawyer to decode are not really terms anybody agreed to.

Using the site

FileCraftHub provides free, browser-based tools for working with documents and images, along with written guides about them. You may use the site for personal or commercial purposes at no charge, with no account and no registration.

You need to be able to form a binding agreement to accept these terms. If you are using the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are permitted to accept them on its behalf.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any tool at any time. We are a small independent project rather than a service you have paid for, so please do not build a critical business process on the assumption that a particular tool will exist forever.

Your files remain yours

We claim no rights of any kind over the documents, images or text you work with using our tools. They are yours before, during and after.

Our tools run inside your browser, which means your files are not uploaded to us and we never receive them. As a result we cannot access, store, review, recover or delete them. This is by design, and it is the reason we can make the privacy commitments we do. It is also why you are responsible for keeping your own copies — see the warranty section below.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use FileCraftHub to do anything unlawful, and not to use it in a way that damages the site or interferes with other people’s use of it. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • process material you do not own or have permission to use, including material that infringes someone else’s copyright;
  • create, alter or stamp any document with the intention of passing it off as genuine when it is not, or of misrepresenting an official record;
  • use the tools to produce or distribute material that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful to others;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any connected system;
  • use automated means to scrape, overload or disrupt the site;
  • copy the site’s code or content to create a substantially similar competing service.

You are responsible for having the right to process whatever you put into a tool. Since we never see your files, we cannot police this, and we rely on you to act lawfully.

The tools are provided as they are

FileCraftHub is offered free of charge and without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that a tool will be available, that it will be free of errors, that it will work with every file or in every browser, or that a result will be fit for a particular purpose.

Because processing happens on your own device, results vary with your browser, your operating system and your device’s available memory. Very large or unusually structured files may fail, and we cannot guarantee otherwise.

Keep your originals. This matters more here than on most sites. Our tools do not modify your source file — they produce a new one — but that only protects you if you still have the original. We hold no copy of anything, so we cannot recover a file for you under any circumstances. Before submitting anything important, open the finished file and check it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FileCraftHub and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or its tools. That includes lost or corrupted files, lost time, missed deadlines, rejected applications, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions apply only as far as the law allows.

Advertising and external links

The site carries advertising, which is how it stays free. Advertisements are supplied by third parties and their presence is not an endorsement by us. We do not control what is advertised, and we have no involvement in any dealing between you and an advertiser.

Our pages also link to external websites. Those sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. Following a link is at your own discretion.

Intellectual property

The name FileCraftHub, the site design, its written guides and its code belong to us and are protected by copyright. You may read, link to and share our pages freely. You may not republish our written content as your own, or copy the site’s tools to build a competing service.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email info@filecrafthub.com with details of the material and your claim, and we will look into it promptly.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site develops. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be made visible rather than slipped in quietly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to info@filecrafthub.com. If something here is unclear, tell us — that usually means it is badly written and worth fixing.
